Nowadays,
English have been an essential subject, no matter where you live, or what you
do, English is always useful for us. As an economic student, I realize there
are so many foreign companies in Indonesia, and to apply the job, most of them
requires someone whose good at English, moreover it gives us chance to get a
good position at the companies, and of course that would gives us good salary
too.
Not only foreign companies, even local or domestic companies
nowadays gives a chance for those who good at English to get a better position
than the other who doesn’t. English would also gives us a good connection with
foreigners, who knows that you’re going meet one of them, well you can chit
chat with them and make friends.
Even if you would build your own company, it will be
excellent if your company to go international and have connection outside Indonesia.
As the CEO, of course you have to be able to speaks English well. There are no
excuse for that. It will be embarrassing as a CEO if you can’t speaks English well.
There also a probability for us to get a job in another
country, and of course that requires a good English skill. And there also a
chance for us to get a scholarship in another country, of course its impossible
for us to get the scholarship if we cant speak English well. Anyway, English is
an important subject, no matter what we study at the university or what is our
job now, English will always useful for our life.
